hello world

Hello world! is a venerable tradition honoured by ancient developers like myself.

“Back in the day” saying hello was the first piece of text you would print on the screen each time you tested a new developer environment. Then the web came along and we really could speak to the world. Has fallen out of fashion but I like to honour what the late Terry Wogan called “the old decencies”.

Don’t neglect humanity.
